24 hour help and support, should you need it
At Polly’s Field Village we want to help you stay as independent as possible so you can make the most of life and enjoy every day. We want you to feel good about yourself, knowing that you’re as well as you can be, confident that you’re healthy whatever your age or abilities.
Part of our mission as a charity is to enhance the quality of life for older people, which besides providing high quality accommodation in a stimulating environment to maintain a socially active life, also means offering privacy, support and security for all our residents.
Of course having a beautifully designed, comfortable home in the village, surrounded by good friends and neighbours, is important and all helps with your general feeling of wellbeing.
Care and tailored personal support just for you
One of the most reassuring features of life at Polly’s Field Village is our dedicated on-site team, who are trained to provide 24 hour emergency care and support. It means you can rest assured that they will always be on hand to give you support and care, should you need it, in the comfort and privacy of your own apartment, up to the level of higher dependency care.
It’s also important having the peace of mind that comes from knowing there’s someone on hand to support you with daily activities. We know from experience that when you’re feeling well, it also helps you achieve more and boosts your own personal feel-good factor. But often it can be just the little things that can make a difference. Like someone to help with the laundry, cleaning, maintenance, shopping, a spot of housework. Should you require a hand with everyday jobs, we can help you with those things too.
More personalised care
Or perhaps you might need regular help of a more personal nature now or at any time in the future, such as toileting, washing, dressing, personal hygiene, medication, or simply getting in and out of bed. In which case our staff team can assist you, subject to an assessment of your needs. They can help keep you independent enough to remain in your own home.
When you move into the village you’ll receive an assessment of your care and support needs. We meet every resident and, where possible, their family before the resident moves in to define what level of care and service is most appropriate.
